Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition Confirmed, Arrives Oct 12
Those of you who follow our site (particularly our podcast) know that I’m a huge Dragon Age fan, and can probably talk your ear off for hours about the game. While an “ultimate” edition of the game had been rumored for some time now, EA has finally revealed the existence of said edition.
The Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition will include the original game, plus all additional content released thus far. This means the Awakening expansion, plus all the DLC (9 separate packs), all for only $60 (or $50 for the PC version). Not a bad deal, since the total value is approximately double that.
Right now, the new edition is listed only at Gamestop, and if the Bioware page can be trusted, it might be exclusive (with the exception of the EA Store). All three versions (PS3, PC, 360) are expected to ship out in only a week, on October 12.
I personally can’t wait, as I originally played the PS3 version of the game and have been wanting to try my hands at the PC version, as I’ve heard they play almost like two entirely different games. Whichever version you pick, if you have yet to dive into the world of Ferelden, now might be the best time to do so.

Some retailers list the release date as October 26th? Which is it?
Yeah, I saw October 26 in a lot of stories about it, but Gamestop has the date as the 12th. I guess we’ll just have to wait and find out, since the official Bioware and EA pages just say October if anything at all.
