Fan of Disgaea? Enjoy the errant visual novel? Me too! But this post isn’t about me. It’s about Disgaea Infinite, NIS America’s next entry into the lighthearted yet ridiculously deep strat-RPG series. Except this time around, there’s no strategy to be found. It’s a visual novel! I’m just as surprised as you are, but most definitely intrigued.

According to Siliconera, we can expect a time-looping adventure featuring Laharl and our favorite d00ds, that Prinnys. Laharl almost kicks the bucket due to a wayward assassination attempt and decides to send a few of the plucky penguins to investigate. To aid in Laharl’s quest, the Prinnys lend him a special clock that allows him to get in the heads — literally — of some Disgaea fan-favorites such as Etna, Gordon, and Flonne. Through some interesting investigatory methods, the Prinnys will decipher who would attempt to kill the mighty Laharl.

Look for this mind-bending adventure this May. Is anyone else as excited about this as I am? You don’t mess with the Prinnys.
