Nippon Ichi Software just released a new (and huge) batch of screenshots from the upcoming PlayStation 2 and Nintendo Wii titled Sakura Wars. Sakura Wars is a strategy-based role-playing game with elements of dating simulation games.

The title is based on Japan’s popular Sakura Wars media franchise spanning across movies, anime, games, and various other kinds of memorabilia. Sakura Wars is set for a late 2009 or early 2010 release.
