white-knight-chroniclesConsidering Japan recently got treated to news of a sequel to Level-5’s HD JRPG White Knight Chronicles, it is even better news to hear that the original will finally be heading to North America.  Set to arrive in the infamous “Q1 2010″ window (approximately February 2010, to be more specific), it could be possible that, despite being highly anticipated by many North American RPG fans, it may get lost in the deluge of titles arriving in those first three months of 2010.

Although no official announcement has been made, last Thursday’s PSN update included the addition of a new trailer of the game, revealing the Febuary 2010 release date.  Hit the break to see the trailer — in English!

The game features a boy named Leonard, who has the ability to summon a giant white knight into battle, and can be played as a single-player or four-player multiplayer game.

    *Guardian, that is.
  • Hell yeah! Heavy Rain is my #1 for 2010. Some other goods will be MAG and Resonance of Fate for me... (In addition to your list of awesome.)

2010 is already shaping up to be an expensive year for me - The Last Guardian, Heavy Rain, God of War 3, Bioshock 2, Final Fantasy XIII, Starcraft 2, No More Heroes 2, Red Steel 2, White Knight Chronicles

And then some that may make it by late 2010 - Star Wars: The Old Republic, Agent, Metroid: Other M, New Zelda Game

    I'm sure there's more, too...
  • I'm not sure how I feel about the voice actors, anyone hear if the Japanese voice track will be made available for the N.A. release? I've been so excited about this game for months, it just sparks my off interest that there is a type of multiplayer -- but not multiplayer within a console RPG. It almost has like, social networking, for a video game, in-game. Weird, and hard to explain but strikes me hard as Must Try.
