Feel like you don’t have enough alternative or English rock music in your Rock Band collection? Don’t worry cause Harmonix and MTV Games has got your back with five new songs from alternative rockers Alice in Chains, three new songs from the alternative metal group Breaking Benjamin and making their debut in Rock Band, English psychedelic rockers Kula Shaker and English rock band Just Kait. Announced today the eleven songs will be releasing on September 29^th for the Wii and Xbox 360 and October 1^st for the Playstation 3.

Alice in Chains is the highlight of the pack featuring five songs which includes “Would?” a featured song in the soundtrack to the film Singles. The pack will also include a new song “A Looking in View” which is from the band’s first album in 14 years, titled Black Gives Way to Blue. The new album will also be released in stores simultaneously with the DLC pack. If you aren’t quite sure who Alice in Chains is check out “Man in the Box” a song that is in Rock Band 2.

Breaking Benjamin will be releasing their fourth album, Dear Agony, in stores simultaneously with the three DLC songs. The songs will include a single from that album “I Will Not Bow” along with “So Cold” from the band’s second album and “The Diary of Jane” from the band’s third album.

Finally rounding out the new releases is a pair of Bands from overseas. Making their Rock Band debut is the multi-platinum selling English psychedelic rock band Kula Shaker with “Hey Dude” and “Knight on the Town”. Also making their debut is the band Just Kait with their song “U Suck”.

As always the songs can be purchased individually for the regular price of $1.99 or you can purchase all of them as “Alice in Chains Pack 01” for $8.49.

Aong with the Rock Band releases comes two new songs for Rock Band Unplugged on the PSP. Releasing on Oct. 1 you will be able to purchase two Foo Fighters songs “Monkey Wrench” and “Lonely as You” adding to the 43 songs already available on the Rock Band Unplugged store. Both of the songs carry the same $1.99 price tag.
