fragile50Those of you as excited as I am for the upcoming Wii RPG-adventure, Fragile: Farewell Ruins of the Moon, can soak up these newly released screenshots after the break.  Those of you in PAL regions can finally rest easy knowing this exciting title will be coming to Europe: Rising Star Games has secured publishing rights, shooting for a Q1 2010 release. The game is already scheduled for release (via XSEED Games) in North America on a similar schedule.

In Fragile, players take the role of Seto, seemingly the only surviving human in a post-apocolyptic world.  After a brief encounter with a mysterious girl, Seto sets out to find her again, desperate for the company of another living person.  Along the way, he meets various ghosts, both helpful and harmful, as he struggles to unravel the mystery of the abandoned world around him.  Using the Wiimote as a flashlight, players explore the world, using scavanged items to reveal the backstory of the people who are now gone.  With its beauitful, cinematic presentation, Fragile promises to be one of the Wii’s most magnificent games to date.

I have to agree about the hair-in-the-face, but it's nice to be super excited for a Wii game for once. :)
  • Wonder what's up with the recent RPG trend of hair in face. Lost Odyssey had that strand covering Kaim's as well and it annoyed the hell out of me.

Not that it matters because this is like...the prettiest game I've seen in a long time.
  • I feel the same! It's absolutely stunning, artwork. I think Witch Hunter Robin started that damn hair strand bit. Though I really loved that anime.
