Demon Souls: Dated, Pre-order Goody Bags In Place
Posted by Stephanie "Tigresa" Palermo on July 5th, 2009
Demon Souls for PS3 has been given a solidified release date for North American RPG fans (and buyers of all games Atlus) along with some treats for those good little demons who pre-order early. In effort to keep the importers at bay, Atlus reveals that there will be a deluxe edition and a standard edition hitting shelves on October 6th of this year, retailing at $59.99 for the standard, and $69.99 for the deluxe edition.
The ever so deluxe… deluxe edition will come packed with an expansive strategy guide tha will not be sold seperately, as well as more dressed up packaging with a sexy little slipcover for collectors.
Pre-orders of both editions will receive a free artbook with concept sketches and designs. If it’s anything like the artbook Atlus gave out to those who pre-ordered Persona 4, you shall not be disappointed. It was very extensive at a little over 100 pages of gorgeous character and creature designs, which I must say I was incredibly grateful for at the very low cost of FREE. Pre-orders are to begin on July 8th at participating retailers. Below is a screenshot of the pack art and bonus offerings as well as a trailer for those who still contain souls yet to be captured by the game.
