altf4Wednesday, right smack dab in the middle of the wonderful work week. Well, hopefully you’re on summer break, or your summer classes aren’t too painful, or work has slowed down. While it might be about 100 degrees outside right now and everything has slowed to a crawl, PC gaming news certainly has not. Today in ALT+F4 there’s plenty of fun that doesn’t include sunburn. The Dawn of War II content patch is going into open in beta tomorrow, it looks like it includes quite a bit of awesome. If you’ve been wondering whether or not your computer will be able to huff and puff through Wolfenstein, wonder no more, as the system requirements have been revealed. World of Warcraft gains the controversial feature of allowing players to switch factions, while Street Fighter IV goes up for pre-purchase at Impulse and Steam. Check it all out after the jump.

-World of Warcraft goes Turncoat

According to a Blizz post in the official forums, World of Warcraft is going to be getting an option that lets you change more than your appearance; you’ll be able to hop to the other side of the battle. In a move that’s sure to inspire a million demented, nasally screams from the hardcore community that seems to hate anything that makes the game more fun or approachable.

Had something like this been instituted earlier, I probably wouldn’t be writing this. I’d be eating cheese-puffs off of my stomach while healing a tank in some repetitive dungeon somewhere. Anything that makes it easier for you to get onto the same server and faction as your friends without having to run all the way through the leveling treadmill again is a good thing in my book.

Check out the official post right here. Then eagerly await the chance to give Blizzard more of your money.

-Street Fighter IV Steam Pre-Sale, Save 10% on a Virtual Ass Beating
